Alexander Buganin was born in 1957 in Ufa. He is a painter and graphic artist. He has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1993.
In 1988, he graduated from the Faculty of Art and Graphics at the Magnitogorsk State Pedagogical Institute (now Magnitogorsk State University). He has participated in republican, regional, all-Russian, and international art exhibitions since 1984. He has lived and worked in Moscow since 1996.
Alexander Buganin’s work combines painting, graphic art, and elements of collage. His pieces are characterized by an expressive color palette, ironic stylization, and references to the imagery and motifs of European art. In some works, the artist employs a blend of various artistic techniques. Notable works by Alexander Buganin include "Golden Rain", "Festival of Owl Feathers", "Sphinx", "Anastasia", "Man with an Earring", and "Master Theodoric".
Alexander Andreyevich Buganin has participated in numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad. His works are available on the art market and are held in private collections.
